The Lowther Hotel

Over the past 196 years the Lowther Hotel has had several changes of fortune. Originally built by Sir Edward Banks in 1824, it was the first building in Goole. Under new management it has, since 2008, been lovingly restored. The current owner, Julie Duckworth, will give a presentation and tour on the history and restoration of this hotel, including a refreshment break.

A walking tour of Georgian Goole conducted by Margaret Hicks-Clarke, chair of Goole Civic Society.

Board coach for Saltmarshe

Buffet lunch by Gloria at Saltmarshe Museum followed by a talk given by Susan Butler. There will be time to view the museum before boarding the coach for Howden.

Susan Butler will guide us around places of interest in Howden.
