Leeds Minster

Meet inside Leeds Minster where tea and coffee will be served. We will then be given a history followed by a guided tour of the church. The church of St Peter was rebuilt 1839-41by Dr Hook, Vicar of Leeds 1837-59. Notable features include fragments the 10th-century Leeds Cross; mosaic panels by Salviati; Lady Chapel memorials and altarpiece; Sally Scott’s Angel Screen.

Leeds Library Meet outside The Leeds Library (next to Paperchase), on the north side of Commercial Street. (Map will be provided) Inside, after an introductory talk, we will split into two groups for a guided tour.
