East Yorkshire makes a disappointing show on RSA's Heritage Index
Thursday, 24th September 2015
The East Riding of Yorkshire has been rated to be in the bottom 26% for overall score on the Royal Society of Art's new interactive "Heritage Index". Hull by contrast is rated to be in the top half and North Yorkshire is rated in the top 15%.
We find these results rather surprising, give the number and quality of historic towns and individual buildings in our area. The East Riding is however rated very highly for "potential heritage activity".
